"What? Oh." The Allergist stopped producing allergen. "It'll cause an allergic reaction, that's all. In anyone. Even in someone with no allergies. Anyone but me." He took a deep breath of his own substance and gave a shivery sigh.

The Allergist did not see anything contradictory about loudly announcing the existence of a secret weapon. His captor had allergies, after all. They were on the same side.
